Frequently asked questions
What happens during the first session?
The first session will be focused on getting to know each other, understanding your difficulties and exploring your personal history. Furthermore, we will discuss your goals and make sure Hanna is the right fit for you.
Who is therapy for?
Many clients seek help with adjusting to difficult life situations, dealing with emotional distress or being fed up with their unhelpful habits (e.g. excessive worrying, procrastinating, ending up in the same unhealthy relationship dynamic, etc. ). Therapy enables you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, learn skills to manage difficult emotions, negative thoughts and problematic behaviours as well as addressing the root causes of your distress.
Do you provide Telehealth?
Yes, Hanna provides Telehealth via a secure online platform. All you need is a computer or phone with access to internet, microphone and speakers. It’s recommended to set a little bit of time aside before you start your video call to get yourself into the right headspace.
